On 23 October 2025, African Council co-organised a High-Level Event on Reparatory Justice for Global Africa at the United Nations in Geneva.

The event brought together diplomats, civil society leaders, academics, and community representatives to discuss the historical injustices faced by people of African descent and the pathways toward meaningful reparatory justice.
